North Evia-Samos Pass: At 12:00 the platform opens for the 150 and 300 euro vouchers

So far over 4.3 million euros have been allocated to local economies through the cards.

Today, at 12.00 noon, the platform opens again https://vouchers.gov.gr for granting digital intangibles debit cards to be used in Northern Evia and the Samo during the month of October, the so-called North Evia-Samos Pass. This is the fourth and final phase of the program.

Each card finances the beneficiary with 150 euros for holidays in Northern Evia or with 300 euros for holidays in Samocovering accommodation expenses, focus and local transport. In total, more cards will be made available through the platform than originally planned, as those that were not used by beneficiaries during the month of August will be added to them.

“Already more than 26,400 beneficiaries (17,436 for North Evia and 9,002 for Samos) have added the Pass to their digital wallet, while more than 4.3 million euros have been channeled into the local economies through the cards that have been made available”, stated the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Christos Triandopoulos.

It is clarified that the budgeted amount that was not used by the beneficiaries during the second phase, in the month of August, will be utilized in the fourth phase, through the issuance of additional cards compared to those initially foreseen. Therefore, the available cards for the Northern Evia amount to 2,679while the cards available for the Samo amount to 1.170, cfor the month of October.

“By activating the fourth phase of the North Evia-Samos Pass, we are also contributing to the extension of the tourist season in these two areas and providing a substantial incentive for citizens to visit them, expecting to spend higher amounts than the corresponding intangibles ensure them digital debit cards. This specific action is part of the implementation of the coherent support and rehabilitation plans designed by the Government for North Evia and Samos, in order for both regions to recover as quickly as possible. We continue to work closely with all co-competent and interested bodies”, said Mr. Triandopoulos.
