George Clooney made a ‘terrible mistake’ with his twins. The Hollywood actor revealed that he and his wife, Amal Clooney, found themselves in a difficult position because of a bad choice.

Appearing on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, September 28, George and Amal talked about their five-year-old twins, and host Gayle King asked them if they are shy and talkative.

“We made a terrible mistake,” the actor said. “We taught them Italian, but we don’t speak Italian,” he said. “We have ‘armed’ them with a language with which they can harm us. And we both don’t really know what they’re saying.”

And while the presenter revealed that their children speak Italian and French, George laughed: “I’m from Kentucky. English is my second language.”

Amal, who is a lawyer, described their son as a “big prankster” thanks to his famous dad. “You taught him all these pranks and now he’s doing the same to his dad,” Amal told her husband.

George quickly shot back, “Well, I think those can really pay off over time,” the actor said with a smile.

The couple married in September 2014. George taught their children how to play pranks on people while they were “stuck” at home during the pandemic.
