Producer Michael J. Wilson has revealed the age of the actor who will play the famous spy in the next film in the film series.

Daniel Craig officially stepped down as James Bond after his performance in No Time to Die in 2019, and since then rumors have been swirling about who will be next to play the famous agent 007.

The actor, who originally signed on for 2006’s Casino Royale when he was 38, has appeared in a total of five James Bond films.

Speculation is now rife as to who will play the role in future films. According to the production team behind the film series (Broccoli estate), the actor has not yet been decided.

Nevertheless, it is often reported that actors, Reggie-Jean Page, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden the Idris Elba are considered candidates for the role.

James Bond producer Michael J. Wilson has revealed the age of the actor who will play the British spy in the next film in the franchise – giving millions of Bond fans a hint.

Remember, Bond is already a veteran. He had some experience. He is a person who has been through wars, so to speak. He was probably in the SAS or something. He’s not some kid from high school. That’s why the age of thirty something suitssaid Wilson.

“We’ve tried to go for younger people in the past,” the producer told Deadline of the casting process, adding, “But trying to visualize it doesn’t work.”

According to a report in The Independent newspaper, although actors can play characters of a different age than their own, it seems unlikely that Bond producers will focus on someone in their 20s. If they intend to cast an actor who is actually in his thirties then Tom Hardy, 45, and Idris Elba, 50, are out.

Page and Madden are 34 and 36, respectively, so Wilson could be hinting that one of them might be cast in the role, it noted.
