Three days after being defeated at the polls, Antonia Fontenelle, 49, decided to comment on the result of the first round of the 2022 elections. Candidate for the Republican Party for federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro, the presenter got 30,975 votes and was not elected. During a live this Wednesday (5), on YouTube, she pointed to the culprits for the failure in the election: actress Klara Castanho and current president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who is seeking reelection.
“I have a beautiful life story, which I am proud of and that is why I am so hated. I have such fierce and violent enemies and they want my liver, my pancreas and my kidneys. They won’t have them. They also want my blood, but only at the end. I’m going to say now what made me not have at least 200, 300 thousand votes”, Antonia shot.
Without mentioning Klara Castanho’s name, Antonia first assumed that the confusion involving the actress greatly damaged her political journey. “It hurt me the fact that I speak the truth and raise lurid issues on behalf of a collective. I didn’t mention the girl’s name, but I spoke of the situation, which is very serious”, continued the presenter.
In early September, Klara filed a criminal complaint against Leo Dias and Antonia, who leaked that she had donated a newborn child at the end of June. The baby was the result of a rape and the exposure of the case brought several moral and psychological damages.
In the sequel, Fontenelle stated that Klara is being “sponsored”. “She is being sponsored, with several lawyers, suing me, she keeps everything a secret from justice. Civil, criminal complaint, criminal complaint by threat… Her accusation says that I threatened her. And more will come, because she is being sponsored. But nobody asks where the rapist is, nobody wants to know. It hurt me,” she added.
