Singer Nicki Minaj, 39, said she has become more anxious since becoming a mother. The rapper gave birth to “Papa Bear”, her first baby, on September 30, 2020. In an interview with E! News, she stated that she feels like her “heart is being ripped out” every time she is away from him.
“When I try to video call him, it makes me sadder. So I try to hold his call because hanging up the phone is so hard,” he adds. The singer also revealed that the baby, the result of a relationship with Kenneth Petty, 42, never had a nanny.
“I’m a woman from Trinidad and Tobago. Culturally, we’re not used to nannies and strangers taking care of babies. It’s not a bad thing when moms do that. are doing it and raising amazing kids.”
“I hate having more anxiety now because you’re like, ‘What if the only time I leave my child, I get that phone call?'” she said, adding, “I think moms feel like they need to be perfect.” The singer said, however, that her fears do not prevent her from having more children.
“I think motherhood made me see more good things in people, more good things in the universe. It makes you a more forgiving person,” she explained. “When I look at my son, I am reminded that I am so blessed.”
