On October 14, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted its second Museum Gala in Los Angeles, honoring its institution dedicated to motion picture productions.

The Canadian actress wore a black leather dress with an open back from the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Russell completed the look with leather gloves, Louboutin heels and subtle accessories.

On October 9, the star tried her hand at a vintage look in a 1998 Vivienne Westwood strapless dress with large buttons. A few weeks earlier, to accept the award for Best New Actress at the Venice Film Festival, she wore a dress from the Ralph Lauren collection from 2007. At the same Festival, she was seen in a Balenciaga catsuit and a couture strapless dress with a statement bow and opera gloves.

To attend the New York Film Festival, she wore a custom Prada dress with an added tiara-like headpiece – fit for a queen.
