There will be an amendment to the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision so that RAE will temporarily use DEDDIE data
At the initiative of the government to facilitate RAE, in the preparation of its report on the excess revenues of the energy companies, the Minister of Environment and Energy K. Skrekas reported to the Parliament.
In his intervention, during the elaboration of the bill incorporating the European directive on the internal electricity market, Mr. Skrekas announced the amendment of the relevant joint ministerial decision (KYA) so that RAE could use the temporary data of DEDDIE, in order to file her study.
Responding to the criticism of the head of the Environment and Energy department of SYRIZA, S. Famellou, for the delay in the taxation of excess profits and their return to consumers, Mr. Skrekas noted that the relevant RAE report is based on measurements that DEDDIE has not yet made, announcing that “we are amending the KYA, so that RAE can, with temporary data (from DEDDIE), submit its study”. The government has never said that RAE is late, said Mr. Skrekas to Mr. Famellos, according to whom, “the government until now has been throwing the ball at RAE and saying that it does not tax the surplus profits because RAE does not have submit the report”. “We will collect – you like it, you don’t like it – the super profits, retroactively” stressed Mr. Skrekas, addressing Mr. Famellos.
