Paulo Betti makes up to 20 videos a day to try to convince fans to vote for Lula

Actor Paulo Betti, 70, has received a series of requests on social media from people asking him to make a video and convince a friend or relative to vote for Lula (PT). “I turned 20 from yesterday to today! I don’t know if there is any result, but it’s fun”, he says in a conversation with the F5.

In one of these videos, Betti tries to change the vote of an elderly woman, a Bolsonaro voter (PL). “So, did you hear a voice that says you should vote for Bolsonaro? In the pandemic, he laughed at those who were short of breath, he didn’t go to the hospital to visit the sick. Be careful with that voice”, he says in an excerpt that the F5 had access.

“I proposed myself in several groups that are organized in this election process. People came to me on Instagram, sometimes from these groups, and they give me a briefing (summary of ideas) on how they want me to speak and then I do it”, he says.

On tour with the show “Autobiografia Autorizada”, Betti will be in Portugal on Sunday (30), election day in Brazil. That’s why he now holds “1,000 meetings” to try to “get replacements for my vote.” He says he intends to travel four hours and stand in line for voting in Lisbon.

A similar fact was also being done by the singer Daniela Mercury, who even published excerpts of her conversations with voters on social networks. Comedian Paulo Vieira was another one who took to Twitter to ask for the phone number of anyone who was undecided about voting in the second round.

His idea was to use his influence to try to persuade people to vote for PT. “Do you have any relatives who can be convinced by me to vote for Lula? This week I’m going to call a lot of people,” wrote Vieira on the social network.
