Yasmin Brunet on going to the police station after accusations: ‘Internet is no man’s land’

Yasmin Brunet, 34, used social media to clarify why she has only now decided to speak out about the allegations of kidnapping and human trafficking that were being made on the internet against her. On Wednesday (26), she was at the Cyber ​​Crimes Division of the Civil Police of São Paulo, where she registered a report for threats, slander and slander.

“I didn’t come here to clarify anything before because I never thought that something so pointless, so clueless, would take the proportion it did,” he said in a video posted on Instagram. “They committed a crime, accused me of absurd things, thinking that the internet is no man’s land, that there is no law, but that’s not the truth.”

Luiza Brunet’s daughter, 60, gave her version of what would have happened. She said that she came under attack after reading an alleged report on the disappearance of a young woman, Letícia Maia, and having entered her profile on Instagram, where she realized that she was taking part in a live. Asking her to reassure people, the girl would have been irritated.

After that, Maia and two other friends, one of them named Katiusca, went on to say that they were being held captive by a gang that had Yasmin’s involvement. They would also have cursed and threatened the model with physical assaults. With the repercussion, the trio went back and said it was a joke.

“This is not a joke you play on someone, this kind of serious accusation,” Yasmin complained. They even denied all this, saying it was just a joke. Are you aware of this? All this chaos they created.”

“All this madness ends here,” he said. “I won’t accept it anymore, I won’t shut up anymore. I’ve already taken the appropriate measures.”
