Pastor André Valadão, from Lagoinha Baptist Church, in Belo Horizonte, and singer Zezé Di Camargo had their accounts suspended on social media, this Tuesday (1st). The artist declared his support and the pastor was President Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) electoral corporal in the elections, which he lost to Lula (PT).

When trying to access the pastor’s profile on Twitter, the message appears: “André Valadão’s account was suspended in Brazil due to a legal demand”. The pastor’s verified Instagram account is also down and he created a second profile, which already has over 8,500 followers.

On the networks, netizens shared a message from the pastor asking them not to unfollow his profile on the network: “My official account has been blocked, I ask you to continue to follow. As soon as I return I will follow everyone as I always did and follow this second option. Thank you. Bolsonaro against everything and everyone.”

Singer Zezé Di Camargo also had his account on the social network suspended. When trying to click on the artist’s profile, the internet user accesses a page with the message: “Twitter suspends accounts that violate the rules”. The singer’s Instagram account continues to function normally.

wanted by F5, Zezé Di Camargo’s advice said that the singer does not have a profile alone on Twitter and that it must be fake. The pastor’s adviser has not yet responded.

Another person who had her Twitter and Instagram accounts suspended was deputy Carla Zambelli (PL), after a court decision. She created another Instagram profile which has over 5.7K followers and posted the word censorship. In the post, she explains that her profiles went offline and when clicking on them they show “against withholding” and “this page is not available.

Supporters of the deputy commented that they were unable to access the profiles and that this is absurd. “Let’s follow this way”, wrote an internet user about the new account created on Instagram. “We are here with you until the end,” commented another Instagram user.

Digital influencer Felipe Neto mocked Valadão and Carla Zambelli. “See, extreme right, why do we need media regulation? Carla Zambelli and André Valadão just had their Twitter accounts removed by court order. Why? Because there is no regulation, there are no rules, there is no specific law. judge decides to delete the account and that’s it,” he wrote on Twitter.
