A video of the arrest of the former goalkeeper of the US soccer team, Hope Solo, arrested in the act in March of this year for driving drunk with her two children in the car in the United States, was released on Wednesday (2) in a report by the Queen City News television news. The images were taken by the camera of the uniform of one of the police officers.

The player was found by police officers sleeping behind the wheel of the car with the engine running in the Walmart parking lot. In the video, she justified to them that she had stopped at the spot to take a nap because she was tired.

The policeman suspected that she was drunk and asked if she had been drinking, but the player denied it. But another officer said that she could smell alcohol and that she was completely oblivious to everything that was going on.

During the approach, Solo called a person saying she was trying to take a nap in the parking lot because she was tired. In the video, she demonstrates speech difficulties and refuses to cooperate with officers as her two 2-year-olds cry in the back seat of the vehicle.

At the time, the player was handcuffed and arrested in the act for driving drunk. Months later, Solo pleaded guilty and admitted struggling with alcoholism and said the episode was the biggest mistake of his life.
