Monica Bergamo: ‘Just talk about it’, says Neymar about son’s request for him to win the Cup

Striker Neymar received a special request from his son, Davi Lucca, 11: to win the sixth championship in Qatar. “Oh, he only asks to win the World Cup [risos]. Just talk about it”, says the player to the program Esporte Espetacular (Globo), which airs this Sunday (6).

“He and his little brother [Valentim, filho de outro relacionamento da mãe da Davi, Carol Dantas] are really enjoying football and always follow the matches of the Brazilian team and Paris [Saint Germain, time de Neymar] too”, says the athlete.

Davi Lucca’s request was made to his father by letter. Other messages from fans will also be read by the PSG player during the attraction.

In an interview made on the pitch of the Parc des Princes, the French team’s stadium, Neymar also spoke to correspondent Marcelo Courrege about how Romario, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, among other stars, inspire him through their performances wearing the national team’s shirt in world tournaments.

“They are great players that I saw and dreamed of doing a little of what they did. I always watched videos of all the players to try to do the same and they are my inspirations in the Brazilian team.”

The singer Gilberto Gil performed at the São Paulo edition of the Música em Movimento Festival, held at the Sérgio Cardoso Theater, in the central region of the capital, on Wednesday night (2).
