Brad Pitt will take part in a new film project with British Formula 1 racing legend Lewis Hamilton.
Movie studios and streaming platforms are submitting bids for the film, which is expected to feature celebrities.
So far it has been announced that the untitled film, according to THR, will star Brad Pitt and Joseph Kosinski, director of “Top Gun: Maverick”, will direct.
Famous producer Jerry Bruckheimer and screenwriter Eren Krueger are also among the cast.
Sources revealed that according to the publication, offers are submitted by major studios, such as Paramount, Sony, Universal, MGM, Netflix, Amazon and Apple. Disney, which usually stays out of this kind of bidding race, is also claiming the project. The plot of the film has not been confirmed yet and Lewis Hamilton, who will participate in the film, is not sure which role he will play.
The British Formula 1 driver was a producer on the animated films Cars 2, Cars 3 and Zoolander 2, but so far has not been tested in acting.
