Actor Roberto Guilherme, 84, died on Thursday (10). Interpreter of the character Sargento Pincel had been fighting cancer for a few years and in recent days he was hospitalized at Clínica São Vicente, in Gávea, south of Rio de Janeiro. As soon as he learned of the death of his partner in the scene for more than 40 years, Renato Aragão, aka Didi, regretted the news.
“Roberto Guilherme, our Sergeant Pincel. A professional of excellence, an exemplary father and grandfather and an unforgettable partner. I lost a close friend. I hope he now rests in peace”, said Renato Aragão to F5.
“He was very different from the guy he did in the scenes. That tough person. He was very sweet and a sergeant even in the Army and who later became an actor. I’m very sad”, added Renato, who has not yet confirmed his presence for the wake, scheduled for this Friday (11), from 11 am at the Penitência Crematorium and Cemetery, in Caju, Central Zone of Rio. “He cried a lot when he learned of his friend’s death. Renato is very shaken”, explained the actor’s wife, Lilian Aragão.
Renato Aragão also paid tribute to Roberto on social media. He acted for the first time as Sergeant in the program “Quartel do Barulho”, in 1966, in Record. Later, he started to work with Renato Aragão in the program “Praça da Alegria” on the same station. In 1982, the actor returned to the project of “Os Trapalhões”, which was on air until 2013 on Globo.
