The creations are inspired by the orphan warrior’s passion for her dragons
The high jewelry house Faberge is expanding its ‘Games of Thrones’ collaboration to a full jewelery collection.
The famous house announced last year its collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, presenting a unique egg jewel that sold to a private collector for $2.2 million.
Now he’s unveiled a line of jewelry that highlights design details from the epic fantasy series’ sets, costumes, characters, and otherworldly landscape of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
The creations are inspired by orphan warrior Daenerys Targaryen’s passion for her dragons, as well as her ruthless pursuit of the Iron Throne and her use of jewelry to reflect her power.
Fabergé is unveiling the collection in stages, starting with the jewels under the title Dragon, launched on November 24 in Dubai. There are five designs, each of which comes in 10 pieces, in a black and white and red color scheme, the colors of House Targaryen.
The Fabergé x Game of Thrones collection was developed in collaboration with Michelle Clapton, the Emmy and BAFTA-winning Game of Thrones costume designer, Lisa Tahlgren, Fabergé’s head of design, and the house’s creative director, Josina von der Busse-Kessel. .
