This December, the Christmas World of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is filled with music. Throughout the month, the SNFCC presents a rich musical program with different sounds.
In particular, on December 4, as part of the “Microcosmos” music series, the Italian multi-instrumentalist and representative of neoclassical music Federico Albanese comes to Faro and, a week later, in the same venue, the “Jazz Chronicles” concert series hosts Maria-Christina Harper and Niki Xylouris with their unique sound that combines jazz with traditional music.
In the “Cosmos” section, two concerts will flood the Stavros Niarchos Hall with melodies: on December 19, Alexia together with the intercultural symphony orchestra of El Sistema Greece welcomes the audience with Christmas songs from the cinema, while, remaining in a festive mood, on December 26, the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra gives a special concert with the most popular songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musicals and performers Vasiliki Karagianni, Vasia Zacharopoulou and Vassilis Kavaia.
