There is something called a social and emotional contagion. This phenomenon concerns the dissemination of behaviors, perceptions, ideas in a group. Emotional transmission occurs when as beings, we recognize the feelings of others and imitate them. This can happen with both positive and negative emotions. The more you hear something, the more you think about it.
So if a colleague says he hates the job, do I hate it too? If my colleague gets angry, should I get angry too?
This effect creates a ripple effect. A chain reaction that has an impact on you and sooner or later, on the whole team.
Of course it also plays a role which colleague says what he says. If, for example, we are talking about someone with influence, it will spread. The same goes for a friend / relative. If you have confidence in his / her judgment, you will adopt what he / she expresses faster. However, any ideology may suit you temporarily. But later you have to see if you really agree or not.
Try to stay close to those who emit something positive. Those who are excited about what they are doing and finding something innovative. This way, very soon, you will become one of them.
