If anyone was going to offer up their nightly habits for the entire internet to unravel, it would be Elon Musk. Man’s narcissism knows no bounds.
So, on Monday, November 28, Elon decided to “upload” on Twitter a photo of his nightstand, which contained no less than two guns, four open cans of decaf Coca-Cola, a painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River and an ancient weapon. Typical billionaire stuff, we guess…
What is Musk trying to tell us with this photo? Perhaps he thinks that drinking copious amounts of aspartame soda is the epitome of an ambitious lifestyle. Maybe again he thinks that sleeping with a mini arsenal next to his head makes him look tough.
After all, what’s more difficult than being within arm’s reach of a gun in case some imaginary intruder somehow manages to get into your fortress of solitude?
Either way, he’s not fooling anyone. He cries, “Please, I’m so lonely. Pay attention to me.”

According to lifestyle brand Free Range American – which covers stories that “inspire the American dream” – the black revolver is a simple game. This is apparently a defunct Diamondback .357 revolver, a “fantasy futuristic weapon” that appears in video games.
However, Musk seems to have at least one genuine weapon to keep him company in his sleep. He seems to have, quite by accident, a vajra on his bedside table. The vajra is a small metal club, described as the weapon of the Hindu god Indra.
Why does Musk have it? Maybe he uses it as a paperweight. Or he plays with it when he’s bored of twittering up and down.
