The entire football department of Olympiakos visited the team’s history museum and relived magical moments of the past.
In the museum was also found Jose Luis Mendilibarwith the Basque coach seeing images from his legendary final for the first time Conference Leaguewithout being able to hide his emotion.

“It’s not just the European Cup. 100 years of history has a lot to show, matches, Cups won by others before matches. It has many things to show from the history of Olympiakos.
Games we played and won, games we played and lost when we really wanted to win but didn’t. Everything that made you strong and led you to conquering the European championship remains.
This wouldn’t have come if it wasn’t for this whole story. It is very impressive, it is a complete museum that shows a whole history. We may have gone through it too quickly, but there are places worth stopping.
Especially those who have been coming for two years, they see how many important players have played for this team, they see parts of its history. All this makes you want to relive the history of Olympiakos, to stand in some places and think of great moments that have passed.
It’s the first time I’ve seen images from that final. The truth is, I don’t usually see what has happened in general. I don’t stand in matches we won either, I’ve never seen the pictures before.
Today is the first time I saw them. I don’t like to see what I have done, won or said, but today I saw these pictures and it is very moving.
