NASA Changes Astrological Data – Here’s where you’ll find out your true zodiac sign

What determines our sign corresponds to the position of the Sun on the date of our birth

Whether you believe in zodiac signs or not, you definitely know what sign you are. But are you one of those who feel they don’t match their zodiac sign? You might be right, because according to new data, you may not be the sign you think you are.

Recently, a NASA announcement turned things upside down, claiming that everything we thought up until now is wrong. In fact, an overwhelming 86% of people were born under a different sign than the one they know.

New data

NASA confirmed, in particular, that the sky today is completely different from what it was nearly 3,000 years ago, when the Babylonians first invented the 12 signs.

“The sky has shifted because the Earth’s axis is not pointing in the same direction. Now someone who has, for example, an August 4th birthday would mean they were born ‘under the sign’ of Cancer, not Leo,” NASA explains.

Essentially, what determines our sign corresponds to the position of the Sun on the date of our birth. The position of the Sun passes through the constellations that form the zodiac. The signs were originally determined by the constellation in which the Sun was located on the day we were born. But in the 3,000 years since the zodiac was invented, the constellations have moved.

So while you might think of yourself as a well-balanced Libra, a headstrong Aries, or a total Gemini, that’s probably not the case.

In addition, “constellations are different sizes and shapes, so the Sun ‘spends’ different amounts of time in each,” explains a NASA spokesperson. “For example, it spends 45 days in Virgo, but only 7 in Scorpio. In order to create a neat “match” with their 12-month calendar, the Babylonians ignored the fact that the Sun actually moves through 13 constellations, not 12. They then assigned each of these 12 constellations an equal amount of time. However, the Sun also aligns with Ophiuchus for about 18 days each year,” he adds. So, NASA has added a brand new 13th sign to the astrological mix.

Astrologer Pauline Gerosa says: “Ophiuchus has always been one of the existing constellations, it just wasn’t chosen by the ancient astrologers to be one of the 12 signs.” Ophiuchus means the man who wrestles with a serpent and, as you might expect, shares many characteristics with Sagittarius. He seeks higher education and enlightenment, is an interpreter of dreams and is expected to achieve a high position in life.

Astrologers warn that, based on this data, your sign may have changed.
