This Monday (2) the Brazilian national soccer team will participate in its first game of the knockout stage of the World Cup. The emotion and excitement for winning the sixth is not only contagious to Brazilians, but also gringos – even famous ones – support Brazil and wear the shirt, since previous World Cups.

Names like Camila Mendes, Matthew McConaughey and even Buddy Valastro have already posed wearing the classic green and yellow shirt. Mendes, star of “Riverdale”, was born in the United States, but is the daughter of Brazilians, knows how to speak Portuguese and has lived in Brasília.

In Brazil’s first game in this Cup, she gathered her family to watch and cheer on the match. The actor McConaughey, on the other hand, is married to the Brazilian Camila Alves and has already appeared wearing the shirt of the national team, in addition to declaring support for Brazil in the 2018 World Cup, in Russia.

Another celebrity who also appeared with the shirt of Brazil in the last Cup was the confectioner Valastro. He was passing through Brazil and published a photo on his Instagram saying: “[Isso acontece] when you are in Brazil during the World Cup”.

In addition, Canadian singer Shawn Mendes has already been spotted wearing the shirt of Brazil while watching a match with friends in a bar. He was passing through the country in 2018, to play some shows, and took advantage of the pace of the Cup to support the national team.
