The final of the reality show A Fazenda 13 gave Record more than 40 minutes of leadership in São Paulo last Thursday night (16). According to data from ibope, in São Paulo, the program averaged 12.5 points with a peak of 14 points.
In Rio de Janeiro, the attraction was 29 minutes in the lead and recorded an average of 13.8 points with a peak of 15 points.
The final of A Fazenda 13 gave favorite Rico Melquiades the title of the season. He defeated Solange Gomes, Bil Araújo (Arcrebiano) and Marina Ferrari, taking home the R$1.5 million prize.
At the moment of the announcement, Rico looked at the screen in disbelief, hugged Bil and Galisteus. He said he couldn’t believe he had won the award, thanked Brazil and shouted his catchphrase: “Shut up, win”. Galisteus told the pawn that the only thing he didn’t do was keep silent.
The night began with Adriane Galisteu announcing the elimination of Marina, who was fourth in the reality show. After the announcement, she hugged the other finalists and thanked Record and the people who voted for her to stay.
“Regardless of the result, I am very grateful to be here, it was a learning experience. I can only be grateful and now enjoy and seize the moment”, said Marina.
The third place went to Solange Gomes, former bather of Gugu. She promised Galisteus that she would never again doubt her potential. “These proofs [de A Fazenda] were really difficult for me because of my past traumas.”
Solange thanked the program director for the opportunity to have participated in the reality show and for them to believe in her. “I’m very happy to have participated [de A Fazenda], it was a dream,” he said.
Bil took second place and took home the prize of a car. “I am very happy, gratitude,” said the pawn.
The 2020 edition had ended its trajectory with the third highest audience since the format’s debut, in 2009. In direct confrontation (on Tuesdays and Thursdays), Record’s attraction surpassed the audience of the 9th season of The Voice Brasil reality in nine opportunities, the same number of victories as the program led by Tiago Leifert.
The program’s success led Record to extend it, halfway through, for another week. Instead of the 94 days foreseen, the attraction had 101 days — the longest duration of a reality show of its kind in the country.
