‘Nobody called me to see the game’, says Fábio Porchat, famously cold-footed

With a reputation for cold feet, comedian Fábio Porchat, 39, said that he is watching the match between Brazil and Croatia alone, in his apartment. According to him, it wasn’t by choice or to “preserve Brazil”, but because he didn’t receive any invitation to watch the game with friends.

“For Brazil to be calm, today I’m at home alone, with no one. I’m going to put the game on TV and watch alone. Today is 3 x 0 for Brazil”, he began, in a sequence of videos shared in his Stories. “This cold foot business is silly.”

Then he explained why he was alone. “Nobody called me anywhere, nobody wants me. People don’t want to see me,” he said, as he sat on the couch. So, he showed that he decided to turn off the television and even go to the bathroom for the team to score a goal.

“I’m trying to use my super power, guys”, added the artist, who also said that the worst part of watching the game alone is not being able to comment with anyone about the game. In the match on Monday (5), between Brazil and South Korea, he was locked in the bathroom by his friend João Vicente.

Back in Brazil after the team lost the game to Cameroon, Porchat went to watch the game at his friend João Vicente’s house. Afraid of the team losing the game and being eliminated in the round of 16 of the Cup, he locked Porchat in the bathroom during the game. “Go stay in the bathroom, be quiet there,” said the actor.

Porchat, who was recording a video and shared it on Instagram stories, thought that João Vicente was joking with him and even shouted that he would watch the game on his cell phone. “It’s already 2×0, let me go. If Korea scores a goal, I’ll be back”, said the comedian, who was recording everything.
