World Cup: Argentina beat Netherlands and Brazilians say disgrace got worse

After the Brazilian team was eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar, Internet users went to social networks to say that the disgrace was complete after Argentina’s victory over the Netherlands. The Argentines won the game precisely on penalties, which eliminated Brazil in the game against Croatia.

“Disgrace is becoming complete with Argentina’s victory,” tweeted internet user Johnny Goulart. “Argentina won… nothing but disgrace today”, said netizen Isah Schmidt. “Argentina’s disgrace won,” tweeted the internet user who identifies herself as Louyxse. In the post, she added a meme of a player saying in an interview: “I want to cry and die.”

“Argentina won is disgrace after disgrace”, wrote the internet user Duda. “Brazil lost, Argentina won and I’m without water in this heat of disgrace! What a cruel world we live in, a difficult day”, complained Patrícia Trindade on Twitter.

Twitter user Raquel Rangel recalled that the mistake that caused Brazil to be eliminated –missing penalties– was exactly what Argentina did not commit and won. “How little disgrace is nonsense, Brazil was eliminated and Argentina passed”, she wrote. “Incredible”.

“Can you now declare the worst day of the year? Brazil lost and Argentina won. Only disgrace”, tweeted Maia. “Brazil lost and Argentina won, misfortune never comes alone”, wrote user Aline. “Argentina won, what a disgrace. But at least the Dutch coach will cry too”, said Internet user Thay.
