Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed to her 4.6 million Instagram followers that the last time she asked for an autograph was when she met Adele.
“After I gave Adele her Oscar, I asked her to sign a piece of paper. I didn’t tell her it was for me! I also have a photo of us backstage, so I made a little box with the items,” she said.
THE Zeta-Jones is currently enjoying the success of her new Netflix series “Wednesday”.
Speaking about her role as Morticia Addams, the iconic mother of a teenage girl in the film “Wednesday”, the actress said that her motherly instinct helped her.
“It always helps to bring the ‘real’ to your work, but I also found it moving. We learn that Morticia was this popular cheerleader at school, who is really different from Wednesday.
And when you have a daughter, you wish you could put an old head on new shoulders. My daughter would say, “Mom, I’m not you!” But you’re my other half, right? That’s life. And it’s interesting to play such a role,” said Zeta-Jones.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Kathryn did something really sweet for her husband of 22 years, Michael Douglas. The 53-year-old artist flew to France, where the 78-year-old actor was filming his new film, to surprise him.
“I thought she was going to have a heart attack!” the Oscar-winning actress said while on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Friday.
Michael Douglas plays Benjamin Franklin. The actress told People last week that the family will be together for Christmas, so she won’t need to surprise him until then.
