The film’s director shared a photo from the start of filming

The director of “Joker: Folie à Deux” gives a first “taste” of the film’s production, publishing a photo of it Joaquin Phoenix like Arthur Fleck.

THE Todd Phillipsnominated for three Academy Awards for the first anti-hero film, took to Instagram to announce that filming has begun on the sequel.

The film will be released in theaters in two years.

“Monday. Our boy,” he wrote in his post, which was accompanied by a photo of Phoenix, topless, being shaved by another inmate at Arkham Asylum.

The still doesn’t answer any of the big questions fans have about the film — especially about Lady Gaga, who will play the role of Harley Quinn. Her participation became known last August, when it was announced that the sequel will be a musical. A character that Margot Robbie made popular after playing her three times.

Todd Phillips previously confirmed that Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Harry Lawte will play as-yet-unknown characters.

Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix lost a lot of weight for the role and entered a complex mental state to express the protagonist’s neurotic disorder.

“I’ve been a workaholic in my life,” the actor said upon receiving the award. “I was selfish. I’ve been tough at times and difficult to work with and I’m grateful that many of you in this room have given me a second chance,” Joaquin said at the time.
