Cher announced on social media this weekend that her mother, Georgia Holt, has passed away at the age of 96.
Holt was a famous singer, model and actress who appeared on the popular sitcom ‘I Love Lucy’.
In September, Cher confirmed that her mother was taken to the hospital with pneumonia, stating that she was experiencing serious health problems. “Sorry I’ve been missing,” Cher wrote.
“Mom was sick from time to time. He just got out of the hospital. He had pneumonia. It gets better,” the famous singer wrote at the time.
