The well-known actor Kit Harington spoke about the role from Game of Thrones that stigmatized him at a conference in Los Angeles

THE Kit Harington revealed hidden aspects of Jon Snow from the series Game Of Thronespeaking during an appearance at a conference in Los Angeles on Sunday.

THE 35 years old actor talked about how Jon ended up in the series finale in May 2019, after Daenerys was killed.

Jon had one of the most interesting characters in the entire series, not to mention being one of the few who managed to survive.

Jon was first introduced as the bastard son of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), who was taken in by the Warden of the North at Winterfell.

He was eventually sent to “take the black” as part of the Night’s Watch, though he eventually returned to Winterfell to get his homeland back from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).

There had long been speculation that there was much more to Jon’s lineage that had been left out, which was finally confirmed in the Season 7 finale.

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) learned through “green vision‘ that Jon was actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, who were legally married, making Jon – whose real name is Aegon Targaryen – the only true heir to the Iron Throne.

Despite his right, he refused to accept the inheritance in the eighth and final season, causing a rift between him and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), resulting in his killing her and Bran being named the new king of Westeros.

The series ended with Bran condemning Jon to the Night’s Watch – in an attempt to appease Daenerys’ supporters – although the final shots of Jon show him walking right through Castle Black, leading the Wildlings back to their true home the North of the Wall.

“At the end of the show, we found him in that cell, he was about to be beheaded and he wanted to be beheaded. The fact that he goes to the Wall is the greatest gift and also the greatest curse.”

“He has to go back to the place with all this history weighing him down and live his life thinking about how he killed Dany, and thinking about Ygritte [την υποδύεται η Rose Leslie] to die in his arms, in conjunction with how he hanged Olly [Brenock O’Connor]. And indeed he lived his life thinking about all these traumasand that’s the point.

“So I think where we leave him at the end of the show, there’s always that feeling… I think we wanted a kind of smile that things are okay. Not good “.

The Jon Snow series is still in development, with Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin revealing that the title will be SNOW.
He also hinted that it was Kit who came up with the idea to continue Jon’s story in a new series.

He wrote on his blogback in June: “Yes, it was Kit Harrington (sic) who brought us the idea.

“I can’t tell you the names of the writers/showrunners since it hasn’t been cleared for release yet…but Kit brought them in as well, his own team, and they’re amazing.”
