“I was shocked the day I went to the doctor’s office as a child and found out I had normal organs,” the famous actor revealed

Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage spoke about his childhood and feeling like he was different from other kids, revealing that he was surprised to learn he had “normal organs and a normal skeleton”.

Nicolas Cage says he was convinced he was an alien when he was a child. The American actor, who has starred in films such as ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’, was surprised when a doctor confirmed that he had normal organs and a normal skeleton like everyone else.

The 58-year-old actor in an interview with “Rampstyle” magazine said that he had trouble socializing with other people and was socially awkward. As he explained: “My father told me he felt like he had to introduce himself to me because I was such a stranger.

I was shocked the day I went to the doctor’s office as a child and discovered I had normal organs and a normal skeleton, because I was sure I was from another planet.”

The Oscar-winning actor added: “I had difficulty connecting with other people. When I saw David Bowie in ”The Man Who Fell to Earth,” I knew I had to do something. That’s how I became an actor.”

The eccentric actor was born Nicolas Kim Coppola, the nephew of “The Godfather” director Francis Ford Coppola, who changed his surname to avoid nepotism at work and claims to have been inspired by Marvel superhero Luke Cage.

His unusual appearances often make headlines, as his success and money often make him make a series of outlandish purchases.

These include dinosaur fossils, cobras, artwork, a supposedly haunted mansion and a very strange mausoleum in New Orleans.

The Hollywood star even bought a luxury cement pyramid tomb to ensure he has the perfect place to rest in eternity when the time comes.

Cage is currently filming his new movie, Sand and Stones, in Ireland.

The star, who is currently married to fifth wife Riko Shibata, is staying at the five-star Powerscourt Hotel in Co Wicklow, while scenes will soon be shot in Dublin.

The film is set in a sparsely populated future world where normal life has disappeared. Cage will play Paul, a man who survives on his farm with his twin sons Thomas and Joseph.
