Megflix: Harry ‘throws down the gauntlet’ to William in final episodes – Talks ‘institutional bullying’

A trailer for the final three episodes of ‘Harry & Meghan’ has already escalated the feud between Harry and William, who are reportedly no longer on speaking terms.

THE prince harry looks set to turn his sights on brother William on Thursday, when Netflix will air the final episodes of the critically acclaimed documentary about the “disgruntled royal brother” and his wife Meghan.

A trailer for the final three episodes of ‘Harry & Meghan’ has already escalated the feud between the siblings, who are reportedly no longer on speaking terms. In an apparent reference to Buckingham Palace, Harry, 38, accused his family of “institutional bowling” and claimed that they were “happy to lie to protect my brother, but never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”

Another trailer, released on Wednesday (“Orchestrated Campaign”), shows Meghan’s lawyer, Jenny Afia, alleging an “information war” against the palace couple “to suit other people’s agenda”. Meghan’s friend Lucy Fraser added: ‘Meg has become this scapegoat for the palace. And so they fed (the media) stories whether they were true or not to avoid other less favorable stories being published.” Afia said the ‘barrage of negative articles’ about the breakdown of Meghan’s relationship with her father it was “the last straw in a campaign of negative, ugly coverage about her.”

The direct reference to William in the latest trailer confirmed suspicions that the juiciest criticisms… saved for last. The Daily Mail’s royal correspondent Rebecca Inglis said they (the Sussexes) were “throwing down the gauntlet”, while her ITV counterpart Chris Shipp said it was “getting dirty (ie the Megflix series)”. Harry’s views that his brother and those around him were to blame for the negative coverage he and his wife Meghan received suggest “a dramatic escalation”, he added.

Harry and Meghan left royal life at the beginning of 2020 and moved to North America, from where they began a series of revelations about the royal family. In the first three episodes released last Thursday, the couple – also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – criticized the royal family for “unconscious” racial bias. They also accused the palace of failing to protect Harry and William’s mother Diana from tabloid exaggeration.
