Tom Cruise skips a stunt and jumps off a cliff motorcycle; watch video

Tom Cruise, 60, showed this Monday (19) that he really likes adrenaline. He shared on social networks a behind-the-scenes video of the recording of a scene jumping on a motorcycle from a cliff for the promotion of “Mission: Impossible 7”. The film is scheduled for release in July in the United States.

In the recording, Cruise appears on top of a motorcycle on a ramp and jumping towards a large cliff. Then, the actor opens the parachute while the director and the production team breathe a sigh of relief that everything worked out. “I’m so excited to share what we’ve been working on,” he wrote in the caption of the video shared on Twitter.

Netizens praised the actor, who dispensed with a stuntman to record the scene. “It doesn’t matter what people think of him, or what’s going on in his personal life. He is an action star that goes beyond his movies and his fans. Absolute legend,” wrote one netizen, who identifies himself as Glyn Davies .

“Tom Cruise once said, ‘I just want to entertain people’. And yeah, I don’t know who does it better,” tweeted the netizen who identifies himself as Oswaldka. “Absurd what Tom Cruise means for practical effects in cinema. The guy is obsessed with trying to die”, wrote Vinicius Meirelles.

In August, the actor apologized to the couple Sarah and Jason Haygarth who walked with their dog on top of the High Crag, in the United Kingdom, when arriving by helicopter at the scene to record a movie scene.

They told The US Sun that they were taken by surprise by the actor. “Sorry to disturb your peaceful walk with all the noise. I like your dog,” Cruise told the couple.

Sarah says she asked the actor if he was going to jump off the cliff. “See you guys later,” Cruise called out before running to the edge of the mountain to jump. She said Cruise is “so cool”.
