The opening of a Museum in Las Vegas dedicated to punk rock music were postponed until March.
According to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Punk Rock Museum, which was expected to open its doors next month, will finally begin accepting visitors in March.
Located between the Las Vegas Strip and downtown, the 1,115 square meter Museum houses the world’s most extensive exhibition of artifacts, pamphlets, photographs, clothing, instruments, handwritten lyrics, artwork and just about anything else from the people and bands of punk rock.
“Punk rock is arguably the most important style of music. It changed the standards of what it means to be a musician or to be in a band. Show the world that you don’t have to be a great musician to play great music!”, say the creators of the Museum, ten musicians and music industry professionals.
In a specially designed space, visitors will be able to play music with the real guitars and basses of Rise Against, NOFX, Pennywise, Sick of it All, Strung Out and many others.
The opening of the Museum will take place on March 10, 2023
