The new biopic about Whitney Houston “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” will address many rumors about the star’s career and personal life, according to one of the film’s producers and longtime friend and collaborator of the late singer, Clive Davis.

The 90-year-old music legend was a close collaborator of Whitney Houston and helped create some of her biggest hits.

“Knowing all the questions people wanted to know about Whitney, I decided it was only right to make a movie and answer all the questions, whether it’s about her sexuality, her marriage, her drug addiction in a certain stage of her career, how me and her worked together,” said Davis, who is played by Stanley Tucci in the film.

The film stars British actress Naomi Aki as Whitney Houston and features the singer’s vocals.

“Naomi’s audition tape was really impressive,” said Clive Davies. “It was all the research he had done on it. … Within minutes you feel like she’s Whitney.”

The biopic will showcase Whitney Houston’s life, starting from pre-adolescence, adolescence, when she was a choir singer to her marriage to Bobby Brown and all the negative press coverage at that point in her life.
