Influencer Maria Lina Deggan, ex-fiancée of Whindersson Nunes, revealed on her Instagram this Sunday (19), that she had depression after the death of her son João Miguel, in May, and the end of her relationship with the comedian, in August.
“Not even my doctor knew how I was still able to get out of bed. I was drugged on drugs, I ate very badly, most of the time I didn’t even eat,” wrote Deggan, in response to a question in the stories. “I remember spending two months sleeping in anguish and waking up with my chest really tight. It was a nightmare.”
Deggan says the moment was the most difficult but also the most transformative of his life. “The Maria of today is someone else… stronger, more determined, braver, more womanly, more independent, I learned the value of sunny days after having been through the rainiest and stormiest days of my life.”
She also adds that it was the first time she had the disease and that, therefore, it took her a long time to seek help and understand her limits every day.
João Miguel was born on May 29, 22 weeks premature, and was admitted to the ICU, but due to complications, he died two days later.
“Son, meeting you was the most magical and special moment of my life. Taking your skin, feeling your warmth, looking at your little face, giving birth, all these moments will remain forever in my memory and in your father’s memory like the best of our life,” wrote Maria Lina at the time, in a publication on her Instagram.
