That’s how art director Thales Junqueira described the relationship he’s had with Humberto Carrão for years. in conversation with F5, he denied being dating the heartthrob of “Todas as Flores”, on Globoplay, after rumors of a romance this Friday (30). The confusion started because of a photo of the duo the night before at Caetano Veloso’s house, in Salvador.
“Me and Humberto have been friends for many years. I’m queer, Humberto is straight and we’re friends. And that’s it”, said Junqueira, who also explained why he called Regina Casé “cupid” of the two in the caption of a photo of the trio in a meeting with Maria Bethânia’s brother. “Regina is a friend of ours and introduced us to Caetano, of whom we are fans.”
Humberto Carrão and Thales Junqueira went to Salvador together on Wednesday (28) and went on several sightseeing trips with other friends of the duo. The released images yielded not only speculation of a relationship but also congratulations from followers: “I love this couple”, commented an Instagram user. “May God bless your love,” said another. “Beautiful, long live love”, expressed an internet user.
The art director of films such as “What time does she come back?”, “Aquarius” and “Bacurau”, Thales criticized, on his social networks, vehicles that reported the supposed romance as a fait accompli. Humberto Carrão has been single since he announced his separation from Chandelly Braz, in August 2022, after a ten-year relationship.
