Brazil recorded 121 deaths and 37,126 cases of Covid-19 this Friday (30). As a result, since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has lost 693,904 lives and 36,343,686 cases of the disease.

The moving average of deaths is now 150 per day, an increase of 14% compared to two weeks ago. The average number of cases is 27,549, down 36% over the same period.

The data for the country, collected until 8 pm, are the result of a collaboration between Sheet, UOL, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo and G1 to gather and disseminate numbers related to the coronavirus pandemic. The information is collected daily by the consortium of press vehicles with the State Health Secretariats.

In all, 182,510,282 people received at least the first dose of a Covid vaccine in Brazil. Added to the single doses of Janssen’s vaccine, there are 172,821,751 people with both doses or one dose of Janssen’s vaccine.

Thus, the country already has 80.96% of the population with the first dose and 80.45% of Brazilians with two doses or one dose of Janssen’s vaccine.

So far, 107,414,053 people have already taken the third dose, and 39,069,827, the fourth.

With regard to children, 14,439,709 first doses (54.65%) were applied in the age group of 3 to 11 years and 10,000,793 second doses (37.85%).

The initiative by the consortium of press vehicles occurred in response to the actions of the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, which threatened to withhold data, delayed bulletins about the disease and removed information from the air, with the interruption of the disclosure of total cases and deaths.
