Zé Neto faces lung problems after Covid and use of electronic cigarettes

Singer Zé Neto, 31, from the duo with Cristiano, is facing a lung disease. According to his advisers, despite not being serious, the problem causes shortness of breath to sing, and the artist is already undergoing treatment.

“Zé Neto has a focus of glass in his lungs, it’s nothing serious, but it causes a little shortness of breath to sing”, says the official statement. “This type of problem may be a remnant of Covid-19 and is also one of the consequences of using the Viper (electronic cigarette). It is already being treated.”

This Monday (20), a video in which the singer talks about lung disease circulated on the internet. “I know that everyone here knows, it’s no secret. I have a lung problem, I’m treating and trying… I didn’t even think I’d make it,” he said.

In late June 2020, the singer announced that he had contracted the Covid-19 virus. He sought care at the Base Hospital of São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, where he lives, after presenting mild symptoms such as coughing, sneezing and fever.

“I was very sick and, according to the doctor, I didn’t suffer a third of what a person in the worst stage suffers. My father was asymptomatic. I even wanted to have spoken to you before, but my health didn’t allow it. I want to thank you for the words of comfort “, came to say the singer when he was still in recovery. In July, he released footage of his son’s reaction when he returned home.

Shortly thereafter, he published a video with an apology after meeting several friends, all without masks. On the occasion, the country singer, who had shared images of the meeting on social networks, even mocked the criticism he thought he would receive.

“To avoid ‘mimicking’, everyone will ask: ‘Why are you without a mask?’ It’s because everyone has already taken Covid. It’s the Covid gang,” he said. After being detonated on social media, he changed his stance and admitted he was wrong.

“I stopped by first to apologize for the unfortunate post I made in a moment of ignorance, thinking that those who have already caught Covid won’t do it again,” he said. “Until I was told that really whoever took it is liable to take it again, I ended up talking shit.”
