by

After a troubled departure from Record, Marcos Mion, 42, debuted in September on Globo, in front of Caldeirão. The four months in charge of the attraction were enough for him to conquer the public and become one of the highlights of the year, which is also proven by his victory in two categories of the Award F5.

Voting began on November 16th and ran until December 6th. The internet user could vote as many times as they wanted for the F5, Folha’s entertainment website. In some categories, there were campaigns by competitors and collective efforts by fan clubs, which boosted the dispute.

With 34% of the votes, Mion was chosen by readers as the best entertainment presenter. He overcame Tiago Leifert, who had 30% of the votes for BBB 21. Fábio Porchat was third with 16% of the public’s preference for Que História É Essa, Porchat? (GNT). Danilo Gentil was fourth with 14% for The Noite (SBT), and Manoel Soares was fifth, with 6% of the votes for his work in É de Casa (Globo).

Caldeirão com Mion took the best variety show category with a wide advantage over the other four competitors. The attraction won 56% of the votes, surpassing Mais Você (13%), Vem Pra Cá (12%), Encontro com Fátima Bernardes (11%) and Domingão do Faustão (8%).

In the best entertainment presenter category, Ana Clara surprised and won with 27% of the votes for her work leading the BBB Chat, shown on Gshow and Globoplay. The young woman surpassed veterans such as Ana Maria Braga (20%), Adriane Galisteu (19%) and Fátima Bernardes (14%). Ana Clara was also better than Ivete Sangalo, who received 18% of the votes for leading The Masked Singer.

In the best reality show category, Big Brother Brasil took the Award F5 for another year, with 55% of the readers’ preference. MasterChef (Band) was in second place with 18%, followed by The Masked Singer (Globo), with 11%, A Fazenda 13 (Record), with 9%, and Marriage à Cegas Brasil (Netflix), with 7%.

In the best talk show category, Danilo Gentili’s The Noite (SBT) won by a small difference from Que História É Essa, Porchat? (GNT). The first had 28% of the votes against 27% of the second. Altas Horas (Globo) had 22%, Roda Viva (Culture), 12%, and Conversa com Bial (Globo), 11%.
