Truman’s involvement in the film drew a lot of criticism, with many accusing Oscar-winner Hanks of “promoting” his child

In a special presentation of the movie “A Man Called Otto” in New York, the family of Tom Hanks (Tom Hanks) recently appeared together.

The lead actor was there with his wife Rita Wilson and their youngest son, Truman, who appears in the film as the lead actor at a younger age.

Truman’s participation in the film drew a lot of criticism, as many accused the Oscar winner Hanks of “promoting” his child (the actor has four children, who are involved in acting and music).

Hanks explained to People that he “was given the role (of Truman) for a very specific reason: We look a lot alike!”

Also, the Hollywood star responded via Entertainment Tonight: “I think my kids are like Renaissance artists. [Είναι] good at whatever they choose to be. But the question is, can you do it and make it last? You have to have passion, you have to have energy.”

The film based on Fredrik Bachmann’s novel “A Man Called Ove” will premiere on January 13.
