Tellingly, the particular moans of pleasure could be heard for over ten minutes, with Lineker commenting that the situation is “a bit noisy”.
The BBC cut in, showing an interview with the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp before the match, but after going back to the studio the sounds continued… unbroken.

The disturbing noises started shortly after the program started, with Lineker eventually finding a hidden mobile phone on set!
“As far as sabotage goes, this one was pretty fun,” Lineker joked on Twitter.
