Globo ran out of time to find a replacement for Rafa Kalimann in the soap opera “Vai na Fé”. Without registering as an actress, the presenter was banned from acting in Rosane Svartman’s plot by the Union of Artists and Technicians in Entertainment Shows of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Sated-RJ), and the broadcaster ended up casting an actress who had already worked on the casa: The chosen one was Sofia Starling, who played the villain Rita de Malhação – Seu Lugar no Mundo (2015).
Model and ex-girlfriend of presenter André Marques, who also acted in “O Tempo não Para” and “Verão 90”, Sofia was announced this Wednesday (18). In the coming days, she will re-record the scenes that Rafa had recorded at the end of December with her then-boyfriend José Loreto. The former BBB and the actor announced the end of their relationship this Monday (16).
Rafa recorded Gisela’s scenes while waiting for special authorization from Sated-RJ, as happened with Jade Picon in the telenovela “Travessia”. But, the entity denied the permission request claiming that the broadcaster did not send the request correctly.
Globo had confirmed that it was looking for an actress to re-record the character’s scenes, who will appear for the first time in chapter 21, scheduled to air on February 8, and will remain in history for two chapters.
