Throughout our lives we trust people. We are never sure of our choices and how they will turn out, no one works by manual. Sometimes we get hurt. But when the wounds continue to bleed, they can sometimes find expression through anger, violence and rage.
The Doctor (Maria Nafpliotou), in the episode of the series “Affection” the Friday January 20thshe is confronted with painful confessions of her patients where she makes a sad observation: “In this world the cruel is considered strong, the innocent is punished and the one who shouts the loudest is right.”
The Doctor receives a new patient in her office, Kaiti (Nefeli Kouri), who suddenly attacked an unknown man, in front of her husband and daughter. As her story unfolds, it turns out that “her life was like quicksand, wherever she stepped, she sank.” But a light always shines at the end of every difficulty.
Anna (Marilia Mitroussi), on the other hand, returns to the Doctor and continues her story of how she ended up becoming a luxury escort. “Her choices have darkened her life and she feels unloved and unaccepted.”
Finally, Sakis (Alekos Syssovitis) continues his story about his beloved friend; how she ended up on the streets, why she didn’t want to return home and her cruel and inglorious end. The Doctor comes to a harsh conclusion: “If a child prefers to be on the street and not at home with his family, then it’s not his problem, but it’s a problem for all of us.”
Episode 16 – “Guardians”
Kaiti’s sudden attack on an unknown man, while sitting comfortably, prompts Fanis, her husband, to bring her to the doctor’s office. There, Kate’s real relationship with this man, Loukas, who comes from her distant past, will be revealed. At the same time, Anna, the daughter of Maros, recounts how she met Reno, a man of the night and became a luxury escort, in search of the high life. On the other hand, Sakis returns to the past, when their first attempt to escape from Jimi’s gang did not go well, resulting in the punishment of the three children. When they finally manage to escape, Leah is already very sick.
