The glamorous star attended a reception ahead of Maria Callas: Letters and Memories on Broadway
Monica Belucci was at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, as an official guest of the reception at the consular residence, ahead of the performance “Maria Callas: Letters and Memoirs”, which is to open Friday, January 27, at Broadway’s Beacon Theatre.
The glamorous star attended the reception with the director of the show, Tom Wolf (Tom Volf) and “won” the attendees with her simplicity and kindness.
Monica Bellucci spoke warmly of the role of Maria Callas.
“It was something that moved me deeply. What touched me most about Maria Callas was this duality between the diva and a simple-hearted woman. A woman who died of grief and a broken heart. We are here for her,” said the famous actress.
