At As We See It we follow the lives of three roommates
Jack, Harrison and Violet are in their 20s and living together in the same house. All three are on the autism spectrum and this adds an extra challenge to every step they want to take in their lives. They want to make friends, find a job, fall in love or even just start going out without fear. As we see in some scenes, these “simple, everyday” can be very difficult for them.
Each character has its own challenge to face. Sometimes they have the help of their family, while others just try to support each other. Jack has a steady job, but finds it difficult to make new friends. Violet decides to try her luck in dating apps because she just wants a relationship. As for Harrison, he tries to take the very brave step and get out of the house, even for a walk. In all these endeavors, they have the help of Mandy, their caretaker.
As We See It is based on the Israeli series On the Spectrum
And there we watch the lives of three roommates who try to get by with life and tolerate each other. In 10 episodes, a tender and bittersweet comedy unfolds with many surprises that really show what it means to live on the spectrum. So, the creators of On the Sectrum return this time to transfer the series to Amazon Prime.
As We See It will premiere on January 21, 2022.
