Zé Neto and Cristiano cancel concerts until January 9th due to illness

The duo Zé Neto and Cristiano had to cancel all the shows they would do until January 9, 2022. Zé Neto is treating a fungus discovered in his lung.

According to his advisors, the musician has already started the new treatment and should be at rest throughout this period. “Both Zé Neto and Cristiano are already at home. There is no need for hospitalization in this case, as Zé Neto’s private doctor, Dr. Wandervan Antônio de Azevedo, attests”, states another excerpt.

According to information supplied by the press office, despite not being serious, the problem detected in Zé Neto causes him to be short of breath to sing. “This type of problem may be a remnant of Covid-19 and is also one of the consequences of using the Viper (electronic cigarette). It is already being treated.”

A video in which the singer talks about lung disease was circulated on the internet. “I know that everyone here knows, it’s no secret. I have a lung problem, I’m treating and trying… I didn’t even think I would do it,” he said.

In late June 2020, the singer announced that he had contracted the Covid-19 virus. He sought care at the Base Hospital of São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, where he lives, after presenting mild symptoms such as coughing, sneezing and fever.
