Rapper Lil Keed Releases New Song ‘Long Way to Go’, a few months after his death. As reported by Pitchfork, Raqhid Jevon Render, as his real name was, passed away at the age of just 24. He had collaborated with big music names like Young Thug, and Travis Scott.
Due to the release of the new song his mother said in a statement. “Shortly before he died, Keed was hard at work on his highly anticipated next album, ‘Keed Talk to ‘Em 2.’ As great a father, son and friend as he was, he was also an artist who (thanks to many of you) lived and continues to live through his music.. This song has a special place in my heart and as you will see it expresses many aspects of his ‘journey’ on earth’.
He was born on March 16, 1998 in a neighborhood of Atlanta. He described the turbulent way he grew up there, surrounded by poverty, drugs and violence on his second album ‘Trapped on Cleveland’.
