Maurílio’s wife talks about her husband’s worsening: ‘He’ll get over it, he’s over it!’

Luana Ramos, wife of country singer Maurílio, 28, who is paired with Luiza, shared an open letter to God after the musician’s health worsened, who has been hospitalized since December 15 after suffering three cardiac arrests.

“Oh God… How easy it is to adore you when everything is going well. How easy it is to forget to thank you too, when everything is going well. Today Maurílio didn’t have a good day, Lord, but I come to thank you for being here. Thank you Jesus for one more day!” she began.

Ramos continued to thank him for his strength and says that he dreamed of visiting the artist, and that he was awake and smiling. “When the news [da piora] came, we were calm, my mother-in-law and I… And that’s how we remained, with a calm that we can’t explain, only feel,” he continued.

“With the certainty that it is just an obstacle on the way, that Maurílio will overcome, he has already overcome! That night completes two weeks, my life took a 360. Not only mine, of course, but now I speak for myself. A turning point. so big that I will never be the same person again,” wrote Ramos, saying he feels he will be a better person.

“Thank you my God for so much change, so much restoration! I feel that it hasn’t even started yet, that there’s still a lot that will keep changing and working on me, but I already thank you for the change you’ve made so far, until now! I ask you Lord, complete restoration of Maurílio’s health, life, everything!”, completed the artist’s wife.

According to the latest bulletin, released this Tuesday (28) by the press office, the singer remains intubated under mechanical ventilation, sedated and on continuous hemodialysis. He is also monitored by hematology, neurology and nephrology teams.

“Today, with worsening in the ventilatory part, [Maurílio] was evaluated by the infectologist and associated with another antibiotic, using vasoactive drugs,” says the medical bulletin. The singer Luiza shared the singer’s medical bulletin on Instagram and asked for prayers.

Maurílio suffered three cardiac arrests while recording a DVD, in Goiânia (GO), on December 15th. He was hospitalized at Hospital Jardim América, but was transferred to the Instituto Ortopédico de Goiânia (IOG) after showing “clinical stability.

One day after the singer’s transfer, the mother Odaisa Delmonte shared a record alongside his son on his Instagram profile rooting for his recovery. “I miss your smile and your hug. Wake up, son, we’re waiting for you”, he wrote in the caption.

After the incident with the singer, Work Show, the office that handles the duo’s performances, released a statement about the cancellation of two concerts they would do, on December 17th and 18th, in the cities of Sorriso and Glória d’Oeste, both in Mato Grosso.

On December 25th, a photo was posted on the duo’s profile with a Christmas message and thanks for their prayers to Maurilio. “Great health and light in everyone’s hearts and, once again, our thanks for all your prayers, donations and positive energy towards our Maurilio!”
