The live shows of The Voice of Greece start this Saturday 18/02 at 21.00 on SKAI with the presenter Fai Skorda!

In the live Cross battles, the teams of Konstantinos Argyros, Panos Mouzourakis, Elena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas cross paths in sensational musical duels.

Just seven contestants will advance to the semi-final from the first Cross Battle and the TV audience has the final say.

Just before the first Cross Battle starts, it’s worth remembering the best moments from the contestants we will watch in it and the team they come from!

From #teamArgiros in the first live Cross Battle we will see Dodona, Dionysis Trentafili and Christomanolis Segounas competing.

Dodona is 21 years old and came to The Voice from Georgia. In her spectacular blind audition, all the coaches claimed her, Konstantinos was the last to turn his chair, he called her a “paver” and she chose his team.

In the knockouts he passed with “I put the spell on you” while from the battles he qualified against Celine Michael singing “Bang bang”.

Dionysis Trentafili is 24 years old, was born in Albania, grew up in Thessaloniki and is a self-taught guitar player.

For the blind audition, he chose to sing “Thoughts bleed”, he made Konstantinos Argyros turn to his song, hinting to Sakis Rouvas and Elena Paparizou for the choice of coach he would make at the end, which he sealed by singing a duet with him.

“I don’t know why” he performed in the knockouts and went to the blind phase where he competed with Agapi Symeonidou in “Your heart has no irons” winning the qualification.

18-year-old Christomanolis Segounas from Rhodes dreams of becoming a singer and attending a music school.

He performed on the stage of the Voice “The heart is angry tonight” and managed to turn the chair of Constantinos Argyros, automatically joining his team.

In the knockouts, he appeared with “Kati mou varkeis” while with “One minute” in the blinds he managed to leave Yannis Mytilineos behind.

On the stage of the first live Cross Battle, #teamPanistes are represented by four contestants: Maria Katirtzidou, Maro Magganiari, Manto Mavroidi and Maria Sakellari.

Maria Katirtzidou is 18 years old, she was born and raised in Katerini and has been involved in music since she was eight years old. In the blind audition, she succeeded with “Thymos” to turn the chair of Panos Mouzourakis, who asked her to say the chorus again, giving a crown at the end, she followed the instruction, drawing applause from all the coaches!

In the knockouts he progressed with “To the end” while in the battles he faced Johny Disko in “Kapois fórts” passing to the next phase.

For the voice of 23-year-old Maros Magganiari, the blind coach blocked Elena Paparizou, who chased him to punish him!

After that, Maro did not want to choose anyone else, despite the claims of the other coaches. In the knockouts, the qualification came through her interpretation of the song “Dangerous woman” while in the battles she competed with Violeta Natsika in “Whatever will be, will be” getting the ticket for the Cross Battles.

The 20-year-old piano teacher Manto Mavroides loves Disney songs and in the blind she went on stage with her piano performing “Once upon a dream” reminding the coach of a fairy. Characteristic of her appearance are the butterflies at the bottom of the eyelids and the blue hair.

In the Knockouts he performed “Maramena ta Iulia” and went to the blinds where he dueled with Nasos Dovino in “Mazi Theos” getting the qualification.

Only 16 years old, Maria Sakellari is a student of the High School of Music with her own band.

He took to the Voice stage with ‘I’d rather go blind’ turning all four chairs. The competition was tough with the coaches going up on stage to be close to her, but Panos Mouzourakis won her almost… telepathically!

From the knockouts, she qualified with “Fallin” to face Dora Arvanitis in “I don’t want to miss a thing” in the battles, moving to the next phase.

#teamHelena participates in the 1st live Cross Battle with: Julio Imeri, Lazaros Katsipis, Lefko and Sissy Polydorou.

Julio Imeri is 30 years old, he comes from Albania and a year ago he moved permanently to Greece for the sake of his Greek wife. In the blind he sang “Stay with me” and turned all four chairs, but Elena’s words won him over.

In the knockouts, he performed “Sorry seems to be the hardest word” moving on to the battles where he dueled with Anna Smyrloglou in “Just give me a reason” winning the ticket for the Cross Battles.

Lazaros Katsipis is 31 years old and has been making a living for the last six years as a singer and musician in shops and on the street. He is a self-taught guitar player and plays oud, lute, bouzouki and mandolin.

In the blind he took his lute and sang “Farewell”, Panos and Elena claimed it but she won it.

In the knockouts he performed “Karavia Chiotika” getting the qualification to the battles where he faced Giorgos Kasteliotis “In the same project viewers” passing to the Cross Battles.

The 33-year-old Lefkos came from Thessaloniki, he works as a physics teacher while he took jazz music lessons in Amsterdam when he did his master’s degree there.

In the blinds, he turned three chairs with “Autumn leaves”, convincing Panos from the first note! Finally the decision was made by his hat and he went on to the Knockouts with Elena where he sang “I don’t mean a thing”.

In the Battles he dueled with Maria Auxentis in “The lady is a trap” winning the ticket for the Cross Battles.

The also 33-year-old Sissy Polydorou from Pieria performed “I’m Jealous” to Blind listening to “I want you” from all four coaches with Sakis Rouvas pressing the button twice, Konstantinos Argyros going to the family room to see her mother and Elena Paparizou falling to her knees.

In the Knockouts he performed “Let me love you” and in the Battles he faced Christodoulos Papadakis in “You are everywhere and nowhere” securing the qualification.

From #teamSakis in the 1st live Cross Battle, Eleni Papadopoulou, Yiannis Tsarsitalidis and Lambros Tsiapoutas will compete.

The 27-year-old Eleni Papadopoulou from Thessaloniki studied accounting, but the song with which she deals professionally won her over. With her blind audition and the song “Kouveda nis kouveda” she piqued the interest of Sakis who turned his chair and took her to his team.

In the knockouts he passed with “Elenitsa” while in the Battles he faced Ilias Fotiadis in “I didn’t beat you” and qualified for the next phase.

16-year-old Yiannis Tsarsitalides from Loutraki is a student at the Music High School of Corinth and has his own band.

He sang “Beggin'” to the Blind by turning three chairs with Elena regretting not turning. After intense competition, he chose Saki’s team and in the Knockouts he sang “Falling” passing to the Battles. There he dueled Chryssa Dom in “Take me to church” winning the ticket to the Cross Battles.

Lambros Tsiapoutas is 23 years old, he was born and raised in Cyprus but in recent years he lives in Athens where he studies Musicology.

At Blind he performed “Until the end of the world” and made Sakis turn his chair by going straight into his group.

In the knockouts, she sang “After I found you, I won’t leave you” moving on to the Battles where she faced Stavroula Dimitropoulou in “More” winning a place in the Cross Battles.
