The couple’s wedding reportedly cost over $3.6 million
Nicola Peltz posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram of the movie “Lola James” that she directed.
The post comes after a new lawsuit claims the actress’ father, Nelson Peltz, wanted to annul her marriage to Brooklyn Beckham, but her mother Claudia feared it would “ruin” her career.

Details of their wedding, which took place in April, were revealed in a lawsuit filed by organizers Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, who Peltz claims she fired just weeks before the wedding because of mistakes. However, Nicola appears unfazed by all that has come to light as she ‘celebrates’ her film, which is currently in post-production.
“Lola James tries to raise enough money to get her little brother, Arlo, out of their toxic home,” says the film’s IMDb synopsis. “Arlo keeps her upbeat, until one tragic night when her whole world is turned upside down. From that moment on, nothing will be the same.” The release date of the movie “Lola James” is currently unknown.

The rich marriage of Nicola Peltz with her eldest son Victoria and David Beckham, Brooklyn, was held at the Peltz family’s $91 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida last April. The wedding reportedly cost over $3.6 million.
Although Nicola described their wedding as the “most beautiful weekend of my life”, lawsuits filed by her father and the axed wedding planners paint a different picture.

But last week the organizers threw down the gauntlet and hit back, calling Mr Peltz a “billionaire bully” and suing for breach of contract in a business deal.

They are also suing Nicola Peltz and her mother for at least $49,000 in damages plus costs, which could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The organizers were hired in February 2022, just six weeks before the lavish wedding. More than 500 famous guests attended. The promoters agreed to a fee of $320,000, with Mr. Peltz paying half the amount up front.

Organizers claim things were so chaotic, with various guest lists and a bride who could never be reached on the phone. The court documents contain hundreds of WhatsApp chat messages, texts and emails, which show that guest lists were incomplete and there was complete “scrambling” about all matters.
Ms Braghin and Ms Grijalba say they have been working 17-hour days to try to meet their customers’ demands. And while there were already reports of a row between Nicola and her mother-in-law-to-be over the bride choosing to wear a Valentino haute couture gown instead of a Victoria gown (a dispute Nicola later denied), it was clear, the suit says, that the Peltzes didn’t want their new in-laws to know about all these… “dysfunctions”.
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham started dating in October 2019, but went public with their relationship several months later. The couple met through Nicola’s brother Diesel while attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Brooklyn proposed to her in July 2020, but later revealed on his online cooking show, ‘Cookin’ With Beckham’, that Nicola was slow to say yes.
