Influencer Khloé Kardashian is being sued by her former assistant. As reported by TMZ, Matthew Manhard claimed he was fired after suffering a knee injury. According to him, it would have been a “total nightmare” to work for the socialite.
The lawsuit, according to the document obtained by TMZ, states that Manhard worked for Khloé between January 2019 and November 2022 and that he tried to return to work months later. The former employee says that she did not pay overtime, even though she worked 12 hours a day and was unable to take the legally required breaks.
Khloé’s legal representative tells a different story, saying, “It’s unfortunate that a former employee would choose to go down this path. Matthew has been duly paid and compensated for his role.”
Manhard, according to TMZ, points out that he injured his knee in May, but was fired in November. “Towards the end of his tenure, he was on leave for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove this to be an inconsistent process,” a Kardashian spokesperson countered.
